I’m looking for Leah Gantz, b. 15 Nov 1812, d. 19 Jun 1893, m. Samuel Garber 26 Nov 1829 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lancaster. They lived in Rapho Twp, adjacent to Mt. Joy. Their daughter, Sarah Gantz, b. 08 Jan 1834, d. 25 Jul 1915, m. Moses Graybill Miller 05 Oct 1854 in Manheim. Leah and Samuel had two sons, John, b. c. 1831, and Samuel, b. c. 1839.
One theory says that Leah was the daughter of George Gantz Jr., b. 22 Jul 1784, d. 24 Apr 1813, and his wife, Elizabeth Hartman. The theory is that Elizabeth then remarried, which explains the dearth of information on the family. However, there is no substantive record that I have seen proving that theory.
