Dear Sarah:
By the time my Henry Geines was in Central Illinois he was spelling his name "Geines".He lived in the country southwest of Bridgeport and southeast of Sumner, Illinois.
Henry was born in Pa. 8/11/1813 and died 6/29/1883 buried in Brian Cemetery near Sumner, Il (small country cemetery). His children were Henry Silas Geines from whom my family descends born 3/11/1843 and died 9/19/1885 buried in Brian Cemetery near Sumner, IL.Henry Silas is the only one we have information on.Other children were Amanada, Christina, Phillip, and Catharina.I have no information on them, and there could be more children.Children of Henry Silas that we are aware of are John Wesley b.1867, Norman Ulysus b. 1869, a son b. 1872, and George Alvin b. 1880.I have more information on John Wesley as we descend from him. Please give me dates for your Nancy, etc.Do you have more information? Thanks for your reply.Wanda L. Gines
