My name is Declan Charnley and I have been researching my family history. I have found a Bridget Gannon born in Mayo, Ireland in 1837 who was married to a Daniel Igo in 1855. They had several children some of whom died. daniel Igo died around 1870s and then Bridget remarried a john Lyons in 1873. They lived in blackburn, lancs. Bridget also had a brother who was 2 years her junior, his name was Martin and he had a daughter called Ellen.
I am disparately trying to find out the name of the village in which Bridget was born and also would be grateful to anyone who can provide any further information about Bridget and her family. I have several birth and marriage certificates but they do not have any details about Bridget's mother and her maiden name.
It would be great to speak with any other people who have a connection with this family. Thanks.
