At familysearch.org, in the record pilot project, is a database of death records from Ontario, Canada. In that database is a record for the death of Margaret C. "Gagnon" on 25 Dec 1922. She died in Fort Frances, Rainy River, Ontario. It lists her birth date as 15 Jul 1837 in Cork, Ireland. It lists her father's name as Michael O'Neil and her mother's name as Margaret O'Connell.
The GSU film number is: 1907009; the digital gs number is: 4171503; the image number is: 572; the reference number is: yr 1922 cn 27785. The Collection is: Ontario Deaths, 1869-1947.
The actual record also states that Michael O'Niel and Margaret O'Connell were from Cork, Ireland and that the information was supplied by Nora Mahieu.

I happened upon this after finding Margaret C. Gannon's burial record in the Family History Library in Salt Lake City -- church records of Notre Dame in Chippewa Falls say that she was "ex loco" "Port Francis, Canada" and was buried in Hope Cemetery 27 Dec 1922.
