Hi Ken, my name is Dena Jordan and I am 'attempting' to start research on the Gannaway Family that resided at one time in Arkansas. James Gannaway (b. in Virginia), married Mary Edrington (b. Kentucky). A message on the Gannaway Genealogy Page states that these two were married in 1828, but, I don't know which state. Also, it seems their children were born in Monroe County, MS. And one of their sons was Christopher C. Gannaway, a doctor in Bradley County, AR. Do you know anything about this Christopher's parents? I mean, where they were married? Any help will be appreciated. Any 'jump start' help will be appreciated.
