Catharine Gannaway who married Joseph Brownlow in Wythe Co. abt 1805...had small children when she died. Alexander was the youngest while the more famous, William, was the oldest. William was sent to live with his uncle, John Gannaway when his father died (he was 11 yrs old) Who took the rest of the kids? Alexander was the youngest (5 years old)does anyone know who he went to live with and where?Would like to know where he was between 1820-1840.
