I dont know if we are speaking of the same Elizabeth Alexander. I have a grandmother Elizabeth who was married to a 'John Alexander' but to the best of my knowledge he had no brother named William. The only bros. I am aware of are Smith and Joseph.I have long suspected that our
Elizabeth's surname was Gann but not sure.She lived next door to John Gann in Clark Co. and was closely associated with him in Cobb Co.It is"family legend"that she was Cherokee.She also named her third son Nathan, I think her father may have been Nathan Gann of Paulding Co. .Her second oldest daughter ( also named Elizabeth ) married Elijah Gann,and her son William married Pernina Gann.Some of her grandchildren also married Ganns.
