Nancy Gann is the biggest puzzle of my genealogy career! She is all over the map when it comes to her birth date and birth place. I have been told that she is the sister of Adam Carter Gann b 1727 Frederick Co VA, but I don't know if that is correct. I do show that Nancy Gann m John Layman and that they lived in Washington Co TN c1791 - c1818, and then they went to Hamilton Co TN, where Nancy Gann Laymon d aft 1854, John Laymon d 1849.
I also have info that Clement Gann b 1733 Frederick Co VA and John Gann b 1736 d 1817 Stokes Co NC were brothers of Adam Carter Gann and Nancy Gann.
If you have any updated info on Nancy Gann I'd sure like to have it.
