Yes, I have that Mary died before 1840. They would have married before 1825, as I have their daughter, Mary Ann born in 1825.
How many children do you have for Preston? Names? Dates?
As I said before this isn't my direct line, so I haven't followed it. These are the children, and spouses that the Gann Historical Soc. attributed to Preston Gann.
I will see if I can find Preston on the census images and get back to you.
