Solomon Gann was son of Ignatius Nathan Gann. The Gann family arrived in Nacogdoches march 1, 1836. Solomon came with Brother, William and sister Mary (Polly) Massingill and her husband George. Solomon was b. 1798 in Washington Co., TN and d. 1884 Hamilton Co, Tx. children: Mary, Nathan, Isaac, Matilda, John, Elizabeth, and Samuel.
