I was surfing on the net the other day and came across the name of William Gann in Perry County, TN. It stated that he was a PVT in the 24th Regiment, US Infantry. One pension started on 2/14/1815 and the other on 4/24.1816. Does anyone know who this William is? I have an ancestor by this name but it is a very common one in the Ganns!. What war was he getting a pension from? Thanks. bonnieg_98_98@yahoo.com
