My records on Christopher show him listed as a member of the Blue Church in 1750.At his death about Sept 1778, his brother, Michael and Michael's wife, Catherine, were appointed administrators of his estate.Christopher's daughter, Elizabeth, being over 14, chose Michael Heller as her guardian, Sevilla, Daniel and David being under 14 had Philip Bahl appointed as their guardian.I have Daniel (1767-1856) and wife Barbara with ten children.I also notice that there is no mention of any other son for Christopher besides Daniel and David.
The History of Lehigh Co. also has George and Henry as sons of Jacob Gangewher (Jacob b either 1677 or 1705).They have some doubts about Henry since he was born in 1765, about 9 years later than George, or when Jacob was either 88 or 59.Well, they do say Jacob was a man of unusual vitality.
I do have other Palatinate ancestors, the Weygandts, for example, who in the 1670'sand 1706-1710 gave the same first name to their daughters. Also have other info on George and Christopher.I don't believe the History of Lehigh Co listed Johan George or Christina as descendants of Jacob.I did see their names in a posting of Ancestry World Tree on 6 Aug, 2000.Mac
