I am Jacque Gandy. My son emailed me last night the message he recieved from you. Melvin Gandy was my father and if you would like I will be happy to send pictures of dad and our family. Tell your grandfather that dad was not discharged but after healed up was sent back to the front line and served the entire war. I have pictures of him in Germany if you would like to have them and also grew up hearing about the war includiong when he was shot. I will be happy to share all that with you for your grandfather.
