I am wondering if this is the same C. H. GANDY b.c1806?? in GA who married Liza LEDBETTER and they had daughter Ellen Elizabeth GANDY b. Nov. 1855 in MS who married 2nd to Levi Jackson MOODY on May 8, 1881 in Benton Co., MS?
If so, then this Ellen is linked to our Ydna MOODY family. We have gobs of info on these lines at the Moody board here.
We are finding links all over the place.
I am trying to find out if This GANDY line links back to any of the Darlington Co., SC GANDY's who also married into a MOODY line there that is Also part of our Ydna Moody family (the same batch of Moody's that links to Ellen Elizabeth GANDY).
The Ydna has really been a huge help to us in sewing up a lot of these wayward genealogy lines we've been running around for years and years trying to place.
Thanks to anyone who can shed more light on these folks.
