If your Gandys were in fact from Montgomery County Ga, then this bit of info may pretain to them:
Tues March 30, 18224------On the Ist Tues in May next, will be sold at the court house in Montgomery County ....the following property to wit: 150 acres of land known as the Jordan place, and all that tract with the tenements thereon, now in the possession of Burke GAndy, with 15 head of cattle, levied on as the property of Brinklely Gandy, to satisfy an execution in favor of John Guyton. publish in the "Georgia Journal", Milledgeville, Ga.
