Am searching for info on the family of Charles E. Gammons b. Feb.1858, MO., married Dec. 4, 1877 Polk County, Missouri to Margrett/Margaret Swindler b. Aug. 1858, IL. They had 4 children that I know of:
George William b. Apr. 1879/1889 MO
James E. b. Dec. 1881 MO
Mary F. b. Sep. 1883 MO
Ora C. (male) b. May 1891 MO
I think all were born in Polk County, MO.
George married Ida Ellen (Elly) Scribner d/o James Scribner and Del(l) Chaney. They had a daughter that I know of - Hazel Marie Gammons b. Sep. 17, 1909 in Humansville, Polk Co., MO d. Apr. 28, 1991 Grapevine, Tarrant Co., TX. Was married to unknown and divorce and then married robert Wesley Sutton on Feb. 27, 1926 in Lewisville, Denton Co., TX.
