Thank You Pat!
I just received the Death Certificates on James & George Gambrell and George is listed as being buried in White Field Cemetery. I have no idea either where it is. I'm hoping Cox Funeral Home can help... in 1924 they were Cox Furniture Company and Undertakers!
I also know that Charlie Cox bought the land our McClellan Homestead was on and it's now the Garden of Memories (cemetery).
My Mom is coming from FL, my Aunt from WA and I from NC will be in Greenwood in May. We plan on cemetery searching then...
Also spoke with Pat Clinkscales who lives next to the Barkers Creek Church and he knew my G Aunt Jane McClellan Ashley (married to Charlie Ashley) he has offered to meet with us in May.
If you are familiar with folks of that area you might remember Ella McClellan Williamson who lived in Donalds. She died in April 1999 and was 101 yrs and well known in that area. She was also my Great Aunt and quite a hoot!

Thanks again! Are you in the Honea Path area?
Would love to exchange info!
