I, too, am a descendant of Thomas Gaskins and I understand that he married Elizabeth Gamblin, "Gambling-Gamelin". So far I do not have much information concerning that family. I do find in books I have, "Colonia Virginia Abstracts Vol #2 Northumberland County Records 1652-1655 Record book No. 14" shows records of a John Gamblin and a Jone Gamblin( her age23)---Another book: Virginia Colonial Abstracts Vol XIX Northumbia Collectanea 1645-1720 - pg 53 Gamblin Anna, Dau of Jno. G, gift from Richd Flynt. 2 Jul 1659 ---
Gamblin, Jno. Tho Gaskins gives a heifrer to "my Cozen Elizabeth, dau of Jno Gamblin: "12 Jul 1657. 14.113.
I am still in the process of searching this family. If you have any information to add to this I would appreciate hearing from you. Would like to keep in touch with you.
