I have traced Henry Gammage of Hereford and his wife Tryphenia Carr and 13 children one of whom was my great grandfather Albert Walter. I then found Henry born in Hanslope, Bucks in 1813 and his parents John and Elizabeth (nee Clark) married in Hanslope Bucks in 1809 with a Lucy Gammage witnessing. There is also a mention of Lucy getting married to a Charles Stimson and a George Gammage. Hanslope has a 1789 and 1798 census taken of the villagers but there are no mention of a Gammage family living there - any one have any information on John and Elizabeth - John's birthdate would have been approx. 1783 and Elizabeth's approx. 1787.
