I have a copy of "William, Thomas & Solomon Gammage and Their Descendants". On page 7 I found a Mathilda Gammage, born 1835 or 1837 who married a Chambliss. She died about 1890 in Sumter County, GA. She is the daughter of Alsay Gammage and Mourning Maxie Law. Alsay's parents are William and Charity Saxon Gammage. There is a little more in the book about Mathilda's parents if you are interested.
