I have located the marriage of George Gamage (father of George,Julia,Thomas,Alfred and Eliza) after finding Thomas' second marriage in Welland, Ontario in 1919.
George Gamage married Eliza LOCKYER 1845 Q4 St Saviour Southwark vol IV page 543.
There is a George Gamage aged 25 living with parents John and Martha in 1841 (ETON, Buckinghamshire HO107 piece 61 folio 13\4 page 5) but this one married 1849 Q2 Eton, Buckinghamshire vol VI page 540.
Working back from the 1861 census, our George Gamage was born in Upton cum Chalvey, Buckinghamshire in 1825/6 and was residing at the Red Lion Inn, Upton cum Chalvey in the 1841 census (ETON UNION, Buckinghamshire HO107 piece 61 folio 12\7 page 8). George probably died in 1889 Q3 Croydon vol 2a page 132 aged 63. His widow Eliza probably died 1898 Q1 Greenwich vol 1d page 692 aged 77.
