G,day Miranda, After browsing through some of the Genealogy correspondence, I realised that there may be some connection with the same distanced relatives. So hopefully, you may able to enlighten me with some of your ancestral history, that for some unknown reason, has withheld from me by my parents, leaving me puzzled and constantly wondering if there are some living relatives around the world that could be nice to swap notes, or even meet up with. Brief history; I Simon Edwin Panario DOB 16 10 55 born in Freetown Sierra Leone. am one of six children from my parents Lionel Panario (Adopted name) used to be in the RAF and a Navigator on the first Comet Jet Aircraft and my mother; Dorothy Esme Panario (Nee Gamage). My mother used to do theatrical work in her younger life under the name of “De Gamage“, I believe she was borne in Ventnor, Isle of Wight (Hampshire) on 12 Jul 1921, Her father was; "Ernest Vanstone Gamage" married late in life. His wife, Dorothy’s mothers maiden name was; Garbett. Ernest and his wife also gave birth to an older son ’Edwin’ who died relatively early in an institution with brain damage which due to complications at birth. I believe Ernest Gamage came from a sting of brothers who were all related to Albert Gamage. From my feeble investigations, I believe that Albert Gamage had a wife Jayne M Gamage and a daughter Daphine C. Gamage, who all set sail from Southampton to Philadelphia on 01 Oct 1904. I believe that an Edwin Thomas Gamage could have been the father of Ernest Vanstone Gamage but I can substantiate that, I am only going of passenger sailing listings. Any-how's, I might be going totally in the wrong direction. However, it would be great to hear if you have some enlightening news. Kindest Regards Simon E. Panario Wife Colleen Gaye Panario (Nee Barrett) Sons Aaron Simon Panario DOB 01 08 85 Jared Edwin Panario 17 03 87 Notify Administrator about this message?
