Melody Galyon 1946 Georgia I was born in Atlanta in Dec. 1946. My mother was Frances (Zinnen) Galyon. Father's name, Rufus Edgar. I lived in Chicago for a couple of years when I was small and then my mom moved us to Florida in 1952. We stayed ther until '58. Then we moved out here to California. I know about two cousins but not their names. The only way I know them is by Dickie and Junior. I know we lived in my mom's parents house in Chicago for awhile when I was very small. This is where I remember Dickie and Junior from.
My mom had several siblings, among them Barbara, Joseph, Blanche. I don't know the rest. My dad I know very little about due to the fact they divorced when I was 3 months old. He died sometime in the late 50's in New York.
I have been looking for other family since my mom died over 20 years ago. I have had no contact from any other family member since we left Florida. I do know that I had an aunt that lived in Florida. We lived with her when we moved there. She was from my mother's side but I don't remember her name, or what town we were in. (I can almost remember her name. I'd know it if I heard it).
