Lou,
I'm another "cousin". My Grandfather was Charles William and he was Drucilla's brother. I, like everyone else, keep hitting a brick wall when it comes to Lee. It is almost as if he fell out of the sky around 1857. I found a tax roll that listed Lee with the occupation of "overseer" in 1857 around Barnardsville, Tenn, Roane Co. The family came to Texas around 1889. I don't know if you know this but he and Elizabeth are buried at the Old Bells Cemetary in Bells, Texas. His name does not appear on the marker but Elizabeth's is. I have it on good authority that he is buried there but his name was never added to the monument.
I do have more information on Elizabeth as well. I would be more than happy to share all the information I have. Look forward to hearing from you.
