I show an Anderson Boyd Galyon in the 1900/10/20 Knox Co. censi with family. Anderson Boyd was listed as a foundry worker.
He is a son to Allen Anderson and Lucinda Vineyard Galyon of Sevier Co., TN. Allen Anderson was born 1-28-1822 to Gilbert and Elender ? also of Sevier Co., TN. Gilbert was most probably a son to Amos Gallion and his unknown 1st wife. Amos was in turn a son to Jacob and Eliz. Arnold Gallion of NC. Jacob and Eliz. Arnold were married ca. 1753 in Harford Co., MD. Jacob was in turn born ca. 1733 to Thomas and Mary Young Gallion. Thomas was born ca. 1707 to John and Mary Wright? Gallion also of Harford Co. John was born ca. 1670 to the original immigrant to America, one Joseph Gallion. Joseph came to America in 1664 from London, England where he was born ca. 1633 to a William and Joan Palmer Gallion. William and Joan were married ca. 1615 in Chigwell, Essex. And there the trail ends for now.
