Elijah Jolie was the son of Lee M.(Marion) Gallion. Who Lee M.'s parents were requires a bit of a guess. Because Lee M. was a CSA vet and from the Roane Co., TN area I feel he was probably not related to the "bulk" of the Roane Co. Galyons too closely. I, therefore, feelhe hails from the "Burke Co., NC" Gallions who progenitor was Thomas of the 1790 NC census. Thomas was "very probably" a son to Thomas and Mary Young Gallion who were married in Harford Co., MD ca. 1731.
Sometime after 1880 Lee M. and his entire family moved from eastern TN to Texas and from there to Okla. and elsewhere.
