Hi George
It is good to know you are still working on our family. The title "I have the family Bible" - do you have a Galyon Family Bible?
The Loudon Library published a book titled
'LOUDON COUNTY TENNESSEE AND ITS PEOPLE 1870-1999".I put the information that you sent to me in this book along with some pictures and more information. If you would like one
it is in the Loudon Library for $60.00.They plan to send the extra back to the publisher. If you would like one you can contact the Library or let me know. They also have one in Roane County.I think you got some information from a Billie Cox Hale from Harriman. She has included a lot of information in both books. She knows about everyone.
It is good to hear from you.We sure would like to meet you especially since my dad's name was George also.
We have been attending a Brackett reunion the last few years.I am just now getting to know how we were related to the Brackets.
My great grand dad "John Galyon" married Sarah Brackett and my grand dad William was one of their sons.It gets quite interesting.
We have a good heritage. The Foshee cemetery in Loudon County has a lot of history about the Galyons and Johnsons.
I hope to hear from you again.
Sincerly
Violet Holt
