I have responded to this note privately at greater length. The LA Galliennes are of distinctly different lineage than Galyons/etc. The Galliennes came to LA from Quebec ca. 1757 in the company of St. Dits, a French Soldier and veteran of the F&I War. Galliennes in Canada go back to the 1670s with marriage, birth records and some of the records refer to ----- of Paris, France.
