I'm researching my family tree and have a bit of a mystery/sticking point.
My Gt Grandmother was the daughter of Thomas & Clara Brock. However, this was a second marriage for both. Clara's former surname was Pike, and at the time of marriage (c.1881) she had two children.
Looking at very limited information I can find two possibilities for who Clara may have been (or these could be total red herrings).
I find the following Clara who married a Pike in the 1870's - born q2, 1850: Clara Gallop (poss Gallup?) Axbridge, Somerset
Thomas & Clara lived in Nempnett Thrubwell in Somerset after my Gt Grandmothers' birth, but it appears that Clara died in 1884, aged approx 33.
If anyone has any information, I'd be very grateful
