To partially answer my own question...

Further searching on the web reveals Columba's parents were Jose Maria GARNICA & Josephina __?__ of Guanajuato, so Columba's maiden name was GARNICA, not GALLO. She must have married a Mr. GALLO before she married Jeb BUSH. Does anyone know who this Mr. GALLO was? Did she have any children with him? Were they divorced or was she widowed? Or is there some other reason she would be called "Columba Garnica Gallo"?
