According to John's death record, Charles was his grandson who lived with them. He signed the death record as that. We believe Charles was really the son of John W and Annie Davis Gallion. They were only together beiefly since John went on to Tx. Annie is shown on census to live with relatives Leclede Co after Charles' birth, but he is with his grandparents Emeline and John. This is all from memory. I can't look up dates and census dates just now.
John W came to Tx and had another family. His son never knew of a possible brother half-brother named Charles.
Ive not yet been able to locate Charles' daughter's family in OK to learn of the family. Her name was Thelma, married name unknown.
I could give you more dates etc later.
