Looking for information re the children of Margaret Elizabeth Ward (b: May 20, 1849 in Monroe County, Tennessee d: 1892-1900 in Webster County, Missouri) and
Archibald Zachariah Gallion b: December 1851, IA, died ???)
The following children are isted in the 1880
Webster Cnty, MO Census:
MARY A born 1871 = MO
LUE NANCE born - 1872
JAMES O born -1875
JOHN W born -1877
ROBERT J born -1879
MAUD born -1886
ALBERT born -1888
STEPHEN C born -1892
all the children were born in MO, Webster Cnty
Archibald Zachariah was the son of Stephen A Gallion (born 1826 KY - or TN, different in different census listings) and Alaminta(sp ?)- date of death unknown -evidently before 1859, maiden name unknown, corect spelling of her first name unknown. Their other two sons:Josiah and Jacob (my g.grandfather) born in Iowa. Stephen and his 3 sons, with his second wife, Mahalia Jane Casteel Hobson (widow of James Hobson) are in the 1860 Webster cnty MO census.
Would appreciate any information on this family - this one has been my "brick Wall' of researching. Iris
