Gallion Family Genealogy Forum

I too have the Gallions back to the 1600's coming from England. I also have info on Gallion's in the early 1700's in LA. Ther is a Gallion cemetry in England. Also, Gallions came from France. I looked them up in the phone book while I was there. You said the Gallions migrated to Ohio. This caught my interest as I have been working on finding the parents of my g g grandfather for about 10 yrs. Stephen was born in TN in 1826. His father came from KY and his mother from NC. I found Stephen in Ohio in 1850. Then we have all the family information after they moved to MO in 1854. I have gen records on 2 other Gallion families in Kansas (my home state) and they came from Ill and Ohio. But have never been able to make a link between their family and mine. Could there have been several different Gallions coming here in the 1600's and landing in 2 different places? Just wondered if you may have had a chance to gather that info. Will be glad to share any info with you. At the present all my Gallion Files are in storage. Will be getting them out soon to answer another person's inquiry. Iris
