To my knowledge, no one knows who Jane's parents are. I know of know birth record or marriage record from the Londona area. Her first marriage was in London to a Paine, then as a widow she married Gov. Mayhew of Mass. while he was on a trip to London from his home in Martha's Vineyard, Mass. It would seem that Jane would be a relative of the Joseph Gallion (b. 1633 to Wm. and Joan Palmer Gallion) who came to Maryland in 1664 and is the forebear of well over 95% of all Galyons/Gallions/Galyens/Galyeans, etc. in America today.
