Thank you for your excellent information on the Gallion family history, John! I am a descendent of Thomas Preble/Mary Bucknell and I'm attempting to locate the marriage dates of each of their children. I also followed some of your other posts with interest. I would like to follow Thomas into England to find his ancesters. I have some information about the children of John Stephen Sr. and Nancy if you would like it. You may already have everything I have. Thank you again for your response.

Tom

Sarah Preble, b 22 Dec 1719 in Baltimore Co., MD, m Johathan Wild 30 Nov 1738 (Harford Co was not created from Baltimore Co. until 1775)

Perry Preble
Samuel Brown Preble
I have these two listed, but wonder about them since I have not specific info on them

Thomas Preble, b 25 Mar 1724, St. George's Parish, Baltimore, MD, m Elizabeth Teagarden, buried in the Pribble cemetery in W. VA.

Mary Preble, b 3 Oct 1726, Baltimore Co., MD, m William Rigdon 10 Nov 1748

John Stephen Preble, Jr., b 15 Aug 1736, Lower Deer Creek, Baltimore Co., MD, m Elizabeth Lowe 21 Oct 1755 and Clemency Bond in 1761 in Baltimore Co., MD.

Sophia Preble, b 25 Mar 1738 in Baltimore Co., MD, no spouse listed.

James Preble, b 21 Jan 1739, Baltimore Co., MD, no spouse listed.

I have seen the spelling of the names of this family as Prebble and Preble. In the Preble Family Histry by Ulyat it is Prebble. There are also records in the Episcopal Church Record of Maryland.
