I have just been doing some internet searching and have found a great number of Gallimores in Newcastle under Lyme going back to the early 1700s. With the duplication of names (William, Thomas and John seem most common) it is really tough to sort out who belongs to whom.

I would be happy to share what I have with you if you are interested. Perhaps some links can be made.
