Researching the Ijames family of NC and have come across a Robena? Ellen Gallimore that married Beal Fillmore Ijames. I have found that Ellen is the daughter of Jesse Gallimore born abt 1837 in NC and Nancy Pack (or Park) born abt 1833 in NC. I believe that this Jesse is the son of William A. Gallimore and Sarah Floyd. The information I have found shows a William A who died suddenly in 1850 possibly in a mining accident. Sarah, his wife is shown in the 1850 Davidson Co. census with children Elenor, Sarah, Jesse, Margaret, Barbara, Noah R., William A. (Jr.) and Mary A. Has anyone researched this family? In the 1840 census William A. is shown on page 277, the same as Elisha Gallimore and a Elizabeth Gallimore age between 20-49 and 1 male age 20-30 and 1 male age 15-19. Is he possbily a son of Elisha or a son of widow Gallimore? There are two Elizabeth's listed in the 1840 census for Davidson Co. Does anyone know who they were married to? Did the Elisha Gallimore in NC have any daughters? Does anyonw know who the daughters shown for William Sr in NC married? Thanks
