Bryson, Hello. I just saw your posting on Ransom Gallimore. Do you happen to know who his parents were? I'm looking for a son who belongs to Jesse Gallimore and Ruth Wright Gallimore, but unable to find a name. I first found Jesse, Ruth and a 'son, under 5' in the 1830 census. He appears again in the 0-15' category in the 1840 census, but is not with the family unit when all family members were named in 1850 census.
Since Jesse and Ruth married in late 1828, it may be that Ransom might be the son, but I'm not sure. It seems that one of his children's names is the same as those of Jesse and Ruth's, i.e., Celia.
I'm researching the Gallimore family, along with the Wright's (my ancestors). Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
