Hi,I don't extensively follow this wing of the family, but I have this on Ruth Wright and Elisha Gallemore.Elisha was born in Virginia about 1775, but lived briefly in Randolph County, North Carolina, and in Rowan and Surry Counties, North Carolina before settling in Davidson County. He married Margaret Emerson. One of their sons is Jesse, born in about 1806; he married Ruth Wright. Ruth was the daughter of Richard Wright, Baptist minister. Elisha and William applied for land together in Randolph County. Later, they both moved into Surry County. It is quite likely that Emerson Gallimore of Davidson County was also a son, surmised largely because of the name of Elisha's wife, Margaret Emerson. Another son, proven by this will, is Owen.
I follow the Noah Gallemore family line. Noah would have probably been an uncle to Elisha.
If you would like to correspond more on the Gallemores/Gallimores, e-mail me at puzexpress@aol.com
