I have records of two Tabitha Gallimores. With the first, Gallimore is her maiden name. The second Tabitha is a Gallimore by marriage. The first is the daughter of a Polly Gallimore, born 17 Nov 1831 in Flat Swamp, Davidson Co. NC. She died 2 Mar 1914, and is buried at Nokomis, Lexington, Davidson Co. NC. She had two daughters, Margaret E. and Tabitha F.L. Gallimore. The second is Tabitha Hill, who married Albert B. Gallimore (15 Jul 1828 to 13 Sep 1875), son of Emerson Gallimore and Charlotte Riley. She is shown as head of household on the 1880 Davidson census. However, I did not see any Tabithas on the 1850 census as head of household.
