My Gr.Grandmother was Sarah Elizabeth GALLIMORE,(b.approx. 1875; m. unk. HOBBS ?). They had a son, Edward (E.D.) HOBBS b.1898, d. 1962 in Birmingham, AL. He was of Scotch-Irish descent, married Annie Elizabeth Smith, dau. of Andrew Sharp SMITH and Sarah Elizabeth ROSS, circa 1915. Edward & Annie HOBBS had 4 children: son, Carl Lee (1916-1975)the eldest, and 3 daughters, Woodrie, Ruby and Johnnie Gladys.
Family residences that I'm aware of include AL, IL, TN & GA. Some were coal miners and perhaps RR workers. I've just begun searching my paternal family tree and personal resources are limited. Please share any info. that may have come your way. E-mail welcome!
