All Galles in Käfertal Germany (part of Mannheim) descended from the Mennonite Johann Peter Galle and his wife Katharina Brennemann. Johann only had one son, Daniel, and at least 10 daughters.
So far I have found that 6 of Daniel's grandchildren emigrated to Minnesota. If you are part of this line, please contact me.
I have been doing extensive research in the Käfertal Church Books. This Galle family quietly assimilated into the evangelical church in Käfertal in about 1827 so most Minn. Galles are not aware of the Mennonite connection.
