I'm interested in finding out about my ancestors in the San luis Valley/Northern New Mexico. I believe my great-grandfather was from the Costilla/Taos area and was believed to be born around 1880. His name was Adolph or Adolpho and I have no idea who his parents were. He may have been given the Gallegos name by his mother but it is unclear why. Can you help at all?
