You were right about where they were, as I was researching for myself , ran across this family. Check the 1900 census in New Mexico,Cosme 42 yoa was born 1857 Sept, He and wife Marianita have been married 24 years. She was born March 1860. Three girls and one boy! and his name is spelled Serbano 4 yoa born Dec. 1895.The girls are Fransiquita 18 yoa, Edelfina 10 yoa,Natividad 6 yoa. There is another Gallegos family situated near them , Elijah I think.
