Laura, no the date is too early. The problem with my Juan is we always heard that he was born on a Navajo Res but kidnapped as a young boy. If so, that is probably why we can't find anything. He was born around 1863 in Southern Co. or northern N.M. He married Nemecia Martinez of Conejos county, Co. Theyre daughter (my grandmother) was born in San Luis also. We are sure of her indian heritage. We cant' prove it, but she told of stories. Her name Tircia Gallegos born in 1890. Good Luck on your also! Theresa
