Extensive information on the Gallegos can be found on the Great New Mexico Pedigree Database on the internet, also in Two Guadalupes (ed by Maria Weigle) which is also on the net under the federal writers project from the depression. Magin's daughter lives here in Denver. I have pictures of the family. Jesus was in the civil war (f. Jose Nazario, m. Maria Rosaria Martin)w. Maria Guad. Baca (f.Severo Baca, m. Maria Ignacia Gonzales). The Gallegos are descended from a number of conquistadors who came to NM with Juan de Onate in 1598 and 1600.
