I'm told that my great-great grandfather, Desiderio Gallegos, is part of the family who founded the town of Gallegos, NM and the Gallegos ranch. I'm told that the Gallegos ranch was located near Las Vegas, NM. I don't know the name of any of his siblings. We believe his father's name was Simon Gallegos, but we're not certain.
