Does anyone have any info about the family of Desiderio & Luisita Gallegos (maiden name Aragon)? They raised their family around Bueyeros, New Mexico during the 1870's and 1880's. Some of their children are:
Pedro Gallegos
Veneranda Gallegos
Elisayo Gallegos
Felipa Gallegos
Elias Gallegos
Carolina Gallegos
There were at least several other children. Veneranda died in Dalhart, Texas in 1965. Carolina lived in Roy, New Mexico. Luistia died in DeHaven, New Mexico or Roy, probably in the 1930's. These Gallegos are supposed to be related to the "Gallegos Ranch" family near Las Vegas, NM, which at one time was one of the largest ranches in NM. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
