I agree with you. But the Carrafa's are very well documented, the Gallego surname origins from the count Ramon Romaes, son of the King Fruela the First de Galicia in the beguining of the 10th century, like Fajardo, Bahamonde and others. Excuse my bad English, I speak Spanish and French. Genealogy and history are very interesting, Cervantes write: "La historia, émula del tiempo, depósito de las acciones, testigo de lo pasadp, ejemplo y aviso de lo presente, advertencia de lo por venir." (Don Quijote, Parte I, capitulo IX).
