Hi Justin Griest. I just found this site and am answering your email. Hope you still have access to this. I have some information about Albert Gallatin and will write longer in the next couple of days. I just couldn't wait to write you.
Do you have information about other Gallatins in the states in the 1700's? I heard from a Gallatin I met in Switzerland that there was a Gallatin who came to the states prior to Albert Gallatin. I am hunting for that person. More later, hope this gets to you.
I'm new to this so have no idea if you can answer this or not.
